WrappedBy 1.2

About two weeks ago, WrappedBy took a significant leap forward with the release of WrappedBy 1.1, featuring a groundbreaking addition – support for the Sinatra Framework, among other exciting updates. Today, we're thrilled to announce the arrival of WrappedBy 1.2, packed with even more features and enhancements to elevate your deployment experience.

New: Cloud Provider Profile

We're excited to introduce a powerful new feature that allows our users to create cloud provider profiles. These profiles enable WrappedBy to automate various tasks using your specified preferences. In this release, we're proud to support Akamai (Linode) profiles. To get started, you'll need an API Token with minimum access in linodes:read_write. Simply navigate to Cloud Providers under Account Settings, and paste your token in the API Token section. The good news is that you can add multiple profiles to suit your needs.

New: Provision Akamai Servers

This release introduces one of our most significant features yet – the ability to provision Akamai Servers directly from WrappedBy. Choose your desired instance type and region, and WrappedBy will handle the rest – from provisioning to installing dependencies and configuring the server to be production-ready.

New: Insightful Server Disk Information

We've added an insightful feature to Server Management – the Disks page. Here, you can inspect the disks available on your server, including total size, total used, and available disk space. Stay updated with the latest disk information by clicking the Refresh Disk Info button.

New: Activity Page

As promised in our previous video, we're excited to introduce the Activity page, providing a chronological record of actions and interactions within WrappedBy. Located on the dashboard, this page lists completed actions with timestamps and human-readable messages. The Activity page serves multiple purposes:

• Awareness: Stay informed about what's happening within the application and review a history of actions.
• Transparency: Promote transparency by showcasing the consequences of user actions.
• Security: Use it for security purposes to detect any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Accountability: As a tool for accountability, it helps track down issues or disputes.

UI/UX: Toast Messages

We're committed to improving your user experience. In this release, we haven't just introduced new features; we've also enhanced your overall experience with WrappedBy. We've added toast messages to keep you informed about your actions within WrappedBy. You'll find these messages in the bottom right corner, providing information about the success or outcome of your actions.

Bug Fixes & Improvement

In WrappedBy 1.2, we've diligently addressed a host of bugs and made numerous improvements to ensure that our users have the best possible experience. We're dedicated to delivering a seamless and reliable platform for all your deployment needs.
